Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani hit a home run that landed him among Aaron Judge and Babe Ruth in MLB history.

Shohei Ohtani is already well-known as a pitcher and a slugger. The Dodgers superstar has recently taken on another role: children’s book author. Ohtani’s dog, Decoy, is already known as the cutest Nederlandse Kooikerhondje on the planet (and quite possibly the only one to be immortalized in bobblehead form ).

Shohei Ohtani has co-written a children's book featuring his dog, Decoy. The Los Angeles Dodgers star shared the news Thursday on Instagram, posting a photo of Decoy, a Dutch Kooikerhondje, with the book.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have changed up the top of their hitting rotation ahead of Sunday's game vs the Brewers.

The book is inspired by Ohtani's dog, Decoy, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game at Dodgers Stadium in August of 2024.

Despite mountains of evidence that Shohei Ohtani can hit with the best hitters in Major League Baseball, and pitch with the game's best pitchers, many have expected the Dodgers star to concentrate exclusively on one or the other at some point in his career.
