The police chiefs of Oakdale and Forest Hill were among those accused of filing false reports that allowed migrants to apply for visas intended for crime victims.

A 25-year-old man was arrested last week in connection with a drive-by shooting in Livermore that left one person injured earlier this month, police said. Jesus Andrade of Livermore was taken into custody on July 8 as he was leaving his home.
