The two-stage New Glenn will stand more than 320 feet (98 meters) tall, with the capability to haul nearly 100,000 pounds (45 metric tons) of payload into low-Earth orbit, according to Blue Origin.
New Glenn boosters, which are powered by seven of the company’s BE-4 engines, produce up to 3.9 million pounds of thrust at liftoff. They are designed for up to 25 reflights.
New Glenn may not be flying yet, but it does have plenty of interest, most prominently from Blue Origin’s friends at Kuiper, Amazon’s communication satellite constellation company.
