After years of anticipation, the Tesla Model Y is finally on sale in India. Although there were hopes that the American EV giant would manufacture models in India, the Model Y has arrived here as a full import.

According to Tesla, the latest generation of V4 Supercharger has the capacity to deliver up to 500 kW per car. With the sole aim to charge the EV faster and efficiently, the V4 Supercharger offers the Model Y a range of 267 km in just 15 minutes.

According to Bernstein analysts, Tesla has not signed up for India’s new EV policy, which offers a lower 15% duty for vehicles over $35,000 in exchange for a commitment to local manufacturing.

The Tesla Model Y Pearl White Multi-Coat RWD costs Rs 62,02,640 in Delhi and Rs 62,03,140 in Mumbai. While the RWD Long Range is priced at Rs 70,10,640 in Delhi and 70,11,140 in Mumbai.
