The NBA offseason has slowed down from a roster movement perspective, but the rumor mill has still been working overtime. With the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James locked into a standoff, trade rumors and retirement rumors have been running rampant.

LeBron James declined an opportunity to speak about his future with the Los Angeles Lakers on ESPN's Saturday night broadcast of Summer League action in Las Vegas.

James was reportedly asked by ESPN if he wanted to share thoughts on picking up his $52.6 million player option and speculation surrounding a supposed strained relationship with ownership, but he declined. "I ain't got nothing to talk about," ESPN's Dave McMenamin said James told him off camera.
