LAS VEGAS – Kon Knueppel and KJ Simpson tallied 19 points each to lead the Charlotte Hornets to a 106-81 win over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas and Mack Center on Thursday evening.

Kon Knueppel and KJ Simpson scored 19 and Damion Baugh added 18 in a dominant win over the Spurs that put the Charlotte Hornets in the summer league semifinals.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs rookie Carter Bryant shined in the Vegas Summer Spurs' first loss to the Hornets, 106-81. Bryant had 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists, and shot the ball well, going 6-9 from the field and 4-6 from the three-point line.

Traded to Charlotte in January, Josh Okogie appeared in 16 games and made six starts, averaging 8.9 points and 2.7 rebounds.

The Spurs play their last scheduled game of Summer League tonight against the Charlotte Hornets, following their exciting overtime victory over the Jazz, capped with a Riley Minix turnaround dagger at the overtime buzzer.
