Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is the first member of the band to publicly speak about the death of his bandmate, singer Ozzy Osbourne. Posting a statement to his Instagram account, the guitarist remarked,

The news came weeks after the rock band’s final show in Birmingham, England, earlier this month. After news broke of Osbourne’s death, Black Sabbath shared a photo of the rock star on his black throne, which appears to have been taken at their last concert.
