With star guard Caitlin Clark out, the Indiana Fever put up quite a fight. A double-double from Aliyah Boston was not enough to lift Indiana to victory, but it did keep the team in striking distance with a 98-84 loss to the New York Liberty.

Boston has had to carry a heavier load for the Fever amid Caitlin Clark ’s absence. The reigning Rookie of the Year sat out for a second straight game against the Liberty after Clark re-aggravated a groin issue that kept her sidelined for two weeks in June and July.
