The Wrap reports that Supergirl screenwriter Ana Nogueira has been tapped to pen DC Studio’s fast-tracked Wonder Woman movie. A synopsis for the new Resident Evil movie (via DanielRPK and Comic Book) suggests it’s set between the events of the second and third Resident Evil video games.

Supergirl, which is helmed by Craig Gillespie and stars House of the Dragon ‘s Milly Alcock, reps Nogueira’s first produced screenplay and is based on Tom King’s graphic novel, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The pic comes out June 26, 2026.
