American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband Tom DeLuca, who wrote hits for Diesel, Jon Stevens and more, were found dead in their home on Monday (14 July). TMZ, which initially reported the news, stated that the couple were shot in the head in different rooms in their home.

Robin Kaye and husband Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Los Angeles mansion, after a history of burglaries in the Encino area.

Though the house was well fortified, police said, but the suspect managed to get in through an unlocked door. He allegedly confronted the couple when they entered.

Thomas Deluca, the husband of murdered American Idol executive Robin Kaye, had his own prominent music industry ties. His albums were produced by producers who worked for Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, and Lenny Kravitz, according to his website bio on Melodic Rock Classics.
