More than 24,000 pounds of Kayem Foods' chicken sausage are being recalled, according to the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.

New Mexico Piñon Coffee has issued a voluntary recall of its Dark Piñon single serve cups due to a potential contamination risk. Consumers are urged to check lot codes and return or dispose of affected products immediately.

Kayem Foods, established in Chelsea, Massachusetts, said in a statement that the fully cooked chicken sausage item was produced on June 28. The 11-ounce packages contain four pieces of “ALL NATURAL al fresco CHICKEN SAUSAGE SWEET APPLE with Vermont made syrup” with lot code 179 and a use or freeze by date of Oct.
