Nintendo’s first big swing after Mario Kart World is Donkey Kong Bananza, a new 3D platformer from the studio that brought us Super Mario Galaxy. If our review here at Shacknews is any indication, Bananza is a banger.

The weird part is... Takeda voiced Donkey Kong in the Super Mario Bros. Movie as well (well spotted, IGN ). As you probably know, the movie role is actually voiced. Takeda's English-speaking counterpart is Seth Rogen. Takeda also "voices" Donkey Kong in Mario Kart: World, replacing Takashi Nagasako who had performed the role for over two decades.

Mario Kart World might have been the Nintendo Switch 2’s main launch title but Donkey Kong Bananza really feels like the first must-have game for the new console, both when it comes to visuals, its wonderfully catchy soundtrack, and the experience overall. If you already have a Switch 2, this is the game to play next and a must for any collection.
