There was mass chaos at a Cub Scout outing in New Jersey after a lightning strike killed one man and injured at least 14 others, a witness says.

The police department said it received a call shortly after 7 p.m. reporting multiple people struck by lightning at an archery range, resulting in a male being administered CPR, while multiple other victims were being triaged, including someone who had been unconscious but later regained consciousness.

What began as a fun Cub Scout outing turned deadly Wednesday night when lightning struck a tree at a New Jersey archery range. CBS News New York's Christine Sloan spoke with witnesses, and meteorologist Scott Padgett has more on the lightning strike.
