Manchester United have started their run of pre-season friendlies with a goallesss draw with Leeds United in Sweden’s national stadium. Matheus Cunha, their £62.5m summer signing from Wolves, offered glimpses of his class in one of the twin No 10 roles but played only the first half of a match in which 47 players were used.

Summer signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon made their first appearances for United while Leeds new boys Lukas Nmecha and Sean Longstaff - the latter signed just yesterday from Newcastle - also featured at the Strawberry Arena.
