Andres Felipe Pineda Mogollon was arrested after a traffic stop in Silver Lake, the FBI in Los Angeles said Thursday.

Three Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were killed and another was injured Friday in an explosion at a department training facility in East Los Angeles, authorities said. The blast was reported at 7:25 a.

The last of four detainees who escaped from an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, in June has now been caught.

Mogollon, who escaped an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, June 12, was arrested after a traffic stop in Los Angeles.

Andres Felipe Pineda-Mogollon, 25, originally from Colombia, escaped from Delaney Hall during unrest at the detention facility on June 12 along with three others who have since been apprehended. No other information about Pineda-Mogollon’s arrest was released by the FBI.

"FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo," U.S.Attorney Bill Essayli wrote in a post to X last week. "The shooting occurred on 7/10/25 at approximately 2:26pm on Laguna Rd between Wood Rd and Las Posas Rd."

An aide of Dick Durbin told NBC News that the senator's office received the information from a protected FBI whistleblower disclosure.
