Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has been honoured with a mural on a pub near Anfield. The “special tribute” to the Portuguese footballer, who died in a road traffic accident alongside his brother Andre Silva earlier this month, depicts Jota in a Liverpool shirt creating a heart with his hands in celebration.

A new mural in tribute of Diogo Jota has been completed near Anfield by artist John Culshaw. The mural is one of the many fan tributes outside Anfield to Jota, who died in a car crash near Zamora, Spain alongside his brother André Silva. The piece shows Jota in a moment of celebration with his hands depicting a heart.
