Current tracking for Superman 2025 at the box office have the movie earning about $232million worldwide for its opening week from July 10 to July 16.

After nearly three years of development and public speculation, it is finally time to see if Warner Bros./DC Studios’ “Superman” can launch a brand-new cinematic universe and revitalize a superhero genre that is no longer the surefire box office behemoth it was in the 2010s.

DC/Warner's Superman flew a bit higher in the Sunday actuals, reaching a $220M global start. The upward shift is powered by domestic which came in at $125M while the international box office take remained set in steel at $95M.

"Superman," written and directed by James Gunn, brings Clark Kent and his superhero alter ego back to the silver screen.

James Gunn's superhero becomes the third Hollywood film to surpass its Bollywood competition at the Indian box office within a month.

Despite Warner Bros. Discovery ultimately being split into two companies, CEO David Zaslav can celebrate a big win this weekend with DC Studios' Superman.

"Superman" is expected to tally between $130 million and $140 million at the box office during its full three-day opening weekend.
